When children don't have the words to explain what they're feeling, their behavior often tells the story. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, or school challenges, or you're a teen or young adult navigating life's transitions, therapy can provide a safe space to feel understood, build confidence, and develop healthy ways to move forward.
Through play, children often communicate what they can't yet say with words. I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families, creating a space where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow. Whether you're navigating anxiety, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, or a difficult life transition, I tailor each session to your unique strengths, developmental needs, and goals.
My approach is warm, person-centered, and collaborative. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. With children, I use child-centered play therapy, incorporating sandtray, dramatic play, puppets, art, and other creative expressive interventions to help them communicate, process emotions, and build confidence in ways that feel natural to them. Every child is different, so I tailor therapy to their unique interests, personality, and developmental needs. With teens and young adults, I provide a supportive environment where they can explore life's challenges, strengthen coping skills, and grow in confidence as they navigate relationships, identity, and life's transitions.
I also believe parents are an important part of the therapeutic process. Through regular parent consultations, I partner with caregivers to better understand their child's needs, celebrate progress, and develop practical strategies that support continued growth at home, school, and beyond.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia College & State University and my Master of Arts in Counselor Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marshall University. My clinical experience has primarily focused on children and adolescents, and over time I've discovered a genuine passion for supporting teens and young adults as they navigate life's unique challenges. My work is grounded in child-centered play therapy with children and a strengths-based, collaborative approach that meets each client where they are while honoring their unique strengths and goals.
Every child, teen, and young adult deserves a place where they feel safe, supported, and understood. If you're wondering whether therapy is the right next step for you or your child, I'd love to connect. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to answer your questions and help determine whether we're a good fit.

Maybe you're navigating a life transition, questioning who you are, or carrying grief, perfectionism, or experiences from your past that still affect you today. Whatever has brought you here, therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself and begin creating a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
I work with young adults, adults, parents, and individuals in the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities who are looking for a space where they can feel understood, supported, and empowered. Whether you're struggling with self-esteem, relationship challenges, religious trauma, or simply feeling stuck, we'll work together to better understand your experiences and create meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is holistic, humanistic, and collaborative. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you uncover your strengths, gain new perspectives, and build practical tools that support the life you want to create. Together, we'll explore patterns, process difficult experiences, and move forward with compassion, curiosity, and intention.
When it aligns with your goals, I incorporate creative approaches, including music and expressive arts, to encourage self-expression, deepen insight, and support healing. I believe lasting growth happens when we combine self-awareness with action in a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working as a Behavior Specialist, Social Worker, and Social Emotional Learning Specialist. I am a Board-Certified Music Therapist and earned my Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Belmont University and my Master of Social Work from Florida State University.

If you’re feeling stuck, burnt out, or like no one really gets it—therapy can be a space where you don’t have to hold it all alone.
I work with teens (11+), adults, couples, and families who are ready to make changes—even if they’re not sure where to begin. My clients often describe feeling scattered, stuck in their own heads, or weighed down by anxiety, depression, trauma, or low self-esteem. Clients describe me as easy to talk to, supportive, and curious. I take a collaborative, down-to-earth approach to therapy, offering tools and insight without pressure or judgment. Maybe you feel stuck or hopeless in a relationship, disconnected from yourself or others, or like moving through life, relationships, and your career is an exhausting uphill climb. It can feel like you're carrying an invisible weight—alone. You long for relief, a sense of calm, and deeper connection in your life and relationships.
Therapy offers a space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect—with yourself and with others. I create a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where you can begin to explore painful emotions and find comfort, relief, and clarity.
I work with individuals (11+) and couples who are navigating relationship stress, major life transitions, trauma, self-esteem issues, grief, faith or spirituality struggles, family of origin challenges (including adult children of addicted parents), and ADHD-related concerns. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive space where you can gain insight, feel more grounded, and move forward with greater clarity, connection, and purpose.

You may look like you’re holding it all together—but inside, you’re tired, overstimulated, or disconnected from yourself. Maybe you’re carrying a lot of responsibility, caring for everyone else, or trying to lead, create, and grow… while quietly running on empty. You want more than survival. You want to feel grounded, emotionally steady, and connected to who you really are.
I work with adults and groups who are seeking deeper balance, emotional resilience, and a more grounded relationship with themselves. Many of the people I support are helpers, leaders, creatives, and “strong ones” who are used to pushing through stress but are ready to slow down, reconnect inward, and build a more sustainable way of living.
My approach is holistic, calming, and deeply relational. Clients often describe my presence as grounding and nurturing. I believe healing happens when the nervous system feels safe, the body is included in the process, and your inner wisdom is honored. In our work together, we focus on emotional regulation, mindfulness, self-awareness, and practical tools that support both inner healing and real-life change.
I bring over 20 years of experience in the wellness and healing arts, including sound therapy, mindfulness, leadership development, and therapeutic coaching. I am currently completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at National Louis University to further integrate clinical depth with holistic care. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Columbia College.
My background includes facilitating individual and group sound therapy sessions, leading women’s healing retreats, and building community-centered wellness programs. I am a Certified Sound Therapist and a Tantric and Yoga Nidra Instructor, and I have spent many years creating spaces that support emotional safety, reflection, and restoration.

You’re doing all the right things—but still feel like it’s not enough. You’re the one people count on.You work hard, keep it together, and try to stay strong. But under the surface, you’re overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted from overthinking, and unsure how to quiet that inner critic. Life transitions, grief, or just the weight of daily stress can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself. You want to feel more confident, more connected, and more like yourself again—but you’re not sure where to start. Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and begin to feel more grounded again with support that meets you where you are.
I work with adults and couples navigating perfectionism, low self-esteem, burnout, life transitions, and the quiet weight of shame or grief. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. We slow down, make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface, and find clarity around what’s next.
Clients describe me as calm, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. My style is compassionate but honest—I’ll listen deeply, reflect what I see, and gently challenge you when it’s needed. You don’t have to do this alone.
I’ve worked in the counseling field for over a decade, beginning in an opioid treatment facility before transitioning into private practice where I’ve found deep joy in supporting my local community.
